The MDi Pakistan undergraduate program team and recent USQ BBA graduates were invited to attend an Australian alumni reception hosted at the Australian High Commission – Islamabad on February 06, 2009. The MDi staff and students had the honor of meeting Ms. Zorica McCarthy, the Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan, along with several key officers of the High Commission.

Graduates and staff who attended include Javeria Javed Siddiqui, Raheel Waqar Malik (CEO, White Rice Communications), Anita Shah (Academic Officer, MDi Pakistan), Nasir Tajuddin (Program Manager, MDi Pakistan), Ana Khalid (CSR, Royal Bank of Scotland), Sher Ali Saeed Khan (Client Services Officer, IAL Saatchi & Saatchi) and Osama Bakhtiar (MPA, Carnegie Mellon University). At the end, the staff and graduates thanked the honorable High Commissioner for the invitation and presented her with a parting gift as a token of appreciation and thanks for the invitation.

MDi Pakistan is the only program in Pakistan that offers an authentic in-country international (Australian) business degree recognized by universities around the world. We look forward to maintaining our ties with the Australian High Commission education office to assist students who want to pursue an Australian degree program here in Pakistan or on-campus in Australia.
